LOCAL, HOMETOWN, and INDEPENDENT!

So y'all really do want to get th' REAL America back? You want to get back to TRADITIONAL beliefs and practices. You want YOUR Constitution and YOUR Bill of Rights to be upheld like our founding fathers intended. You are very passionate about it. You are willing to do what it takes to meet these goals. You want YOUR children and grandchildren to be free of debt and oppression. You want the MAJORITY to RULE again. You want government to really be a government OF THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE. You are sick and tired of having to ACCEPT FINAL decisions based on Al Gore, Peta, The Rainbow Coalition, Jesse Jackson, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Al Sharpton, Ted Kennedy, ACLU, ACORN, Hollywood and it's industry, NOW, Jane Fonda, Barney Frank, and yes, even th' illegal President, Hussein Obama. You want America to MAKE SENSE again. Well, let me ask you this: ARE YOU REALLY WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE?

Most of us are old enough to remember when we used to go to the corner grocery store to buy food. We knew the owner on a personal level. We'd actually stop and speak to him for just a few minutes before shopping. We did th' same ol' thing when we bought gas. We'd say, "Fill'er up Mr. Jackson!" and he'd smile and say, "Can I get those windows for ya?" Oh, and if we needed a garden tool, we'd go to the LOCAL hardware store. Yep, it was owned by a hometown fella. Mom, would get her hair done at a local beauty shop where all the town gossip was going on. Dad would go to th' local barber where, even though they wouldn't admit it, all th' town gossip was goin' on. If we got sick, we'd go to the local doctor. If th' old car needed fixin', it was done at th' local mechanics place. If we needed medicine, it was picked up at the local drug store and we got a homemade malt or lemonade, at th' counter, while we were there. Yeah, everything was done with local folks on a local level. It, to me, was REAL America.

Now, did you know that all them places are around today? Yes they are and they are being pushed out! It's OUR fault! Yep, you and me, we let th' FAT CATS sell us on CHEAP(or brainwash us on TV)! We had America right in our hands and we slowly let it slip through our naive lil' fingers. You see, every time you save a few bucks at Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe's, Brookshire's, HEB, etc., you are pushing th' local hardware, grocery, drug, clothes, auto, furniture, lighting, and appliance store further out of business. Wonder why hospital and doctor bills are so high? The FAT CATS have formed "networks"! Yeah, they OWN th' doctors and th' hospitals. It's virtually a monopoly! There are still, believe it or not, a few INDEPENDENT doctor's around that didn't BUY TH' HYPE! There are even INDEPENDENT service stations around that will still wash your windows. Yeah, CHEAP was th' hook and ONE STOP was th' bait and boy did we SWALLOW IT! You and I are SELLIN' OUT real America!

Anyway, I quit sellin' America out! I found a small INDEPENDENT grocery store and found that a lot of the items were actually cheaper. Oh, and the meat was 100% better. It was actually a better cut and was cheaper than Brookshire's. If the total cost was higher, I sure didn't notice it. And, they were genuinely happier and sincerely wanted to SERVE the customer. It was refreshing! Hey, I also found a roadside fruit and vegetable stand and bought mine there. They were cheaper and fresher, without that waxy feel to them. They were excellent! I've used the same local INDEPENDENT mechanic for the last fifteen years. We use an INDEPENDENT drug store and my wife goes to an INDEPENDENT beauty shop and yes, she picks up a lil' gossip. Oh, and if you live in a place like New York or Los Angeles, just look around. Th' INDEPENDENTS are there too. Anyway, I think I've made my point about gettin' real America back.

LOCAL, HOMETOWN, and INDEPENDENT! That's what we have to remember. BREAK TH' 35,0000! And GROW the INDEPENDENT! Jobs? Well, th' more you break th' FAT CATS th' more you increase th' INDEPENDENTS and th' INDEPENDENTS will need more employees and they will hire more folks. It's not a job loss. It's a job switch! But th' REAL America will grow and we will, once again, be free and our children will be debt free, and we will FEEL GOOD about OUR country again. Oh, and without FAT CATS, there will be no one to BUY and SEAT CORRUPT POLITICIANS! Actually corrupt is too kind. Skanky, Smelly, Slimy, Wicked, and Creepy would be more appropriate!

And there you have my opinions that I thoroughly enjoyed bringin' ya! Y'all have a REAL good 'un, okay?
