JOURNEY

My 42 year honeymoon is over. I lost the most beautiful, wonderful, inspiring, loving, warm, woman any man deserves to cancer.

I have been shot, stabbed, had many broken bones and surgery, but nothing compares to the hurt I feel because of my loss. I still talk to her. I still reach for her hand. I feel for her in bed. I miss her so much.

To each one of you all I can say is kiss your spouse more often. Kiss them longer. Hug them like they will be gone tomorrow. Talk to them. Cherish them. Caress them. Sooth them. Comfort them. Enjoy them. Pray with them. And love, love, love them.
