Paragraph
1. “I opposed Eric Holder’s confirmation
to the Attorney General post in 2009.” OPPOSED? That is not a word of action! Anyone can oppose without repercussions! And he goes on with, “I remain doubtful” and “add
validity to my concerns.” If they are
valid then where is the action?
Paragraph
2. Here we go, he “strongly disagrees”! Uh huh. And he states, “…is simply dangerous and
reverts to a pre-9/11 mentality.” Nice
words, but no ACTION!
Paragraph
3. Mr. Cornyn is “deeply concerned”, but
not deeply enough to file charges or demand arrest! He goes on to say that he “urged the
Department of Justice”. Really John, “urge”
is the best you could do? And finally,
in this paragraph he wants a “survey”. Wow,
Obama and Holder should be on trial for murder and he asks for a survey.
Paragraph
4. This one he starts with a “strongly
oppose”. Huh. Is that the same as his “strongly disagree’s”
above? Just wonderin’. Then ol’ John ends this one with a “firmly
believe”.
Paragraph
5. Now John is getting serious as he
starts this one with an “I am deeply troubled…” and finishes it with an “it’s
difficult to imagine”! Yes sir, Johnny
boy, those are power packed words.
Final
paragraph – Holder’s record “is troubling”! Ya think?
Geez! You ought to be where we
are! John, you are sooooo on the ball! We may be certain that you are going to “monitor
his actions”. Really John? You do know that a legal American citizen is
dead because Holder put weapons in a drug dealer’s hands, don’t you? Monitor?
Boy that makes us feel so good! You just do not know how safe we feel with our
justice system! You guys are something
else!
Dear
Mr. Sulak:
Thank
you for your recent letter regarding Attorney General Eric Holder. I appreciate having the benefit of your
comments on this important issue.
As
you may know, after carefully reviewing his record, I opposed Eric Holder’s
confirmation to the Attorney General post in 2009. Unfortunately, I remain doubtful about his
judgment and ability to operate independently from political influence. I believe that several recent examples add
validity to my concerns.
I
strongly disagreed with Attorney General Holder’s decision to bring Khalid
Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the September 11 terrorist attacks, and
four other 9/11 co-conspirators to New York to be tried in civilian courts. Moving terrorist trials to the United States
places Americans at risk and provides Mohammed with a platform from which to spew
his hate-filled ideology and recruit like-minded fanatics around the world to
join him in jihad. Treating these war
crimes as ordinary criminal acts and trying these terrorists in civilian courts
is simply dangerous and reverts to a pre-9/11 mentality.
Secondly,
I am deeply concerned with Attorney General Holder’s failure to implement the
Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act.
This important piece of legislation was passed by Congress to ensure
that the men and women bravely serving our country overseas are afforded their
constitutional right to vote. In a July 19,
2011, letter, I urged the Department of Justice to inquire with each state as
to its intended timeline for sending out unmarked ballots for the 2012 general
election, and provide me a survey of the states that plan to request a waiver
for this requirement.
Furthermore,
I strongly oppose President Obama's decision to instruct the Department of
Justice to stop defending the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act. The President and Attorney General Holder
made this ill-informed decision based on their political agenda, even though
this statute was passed by Congress, signed into law by a previous President, and
broadly supported by the American people.
I firmly believe that both President Obama and his Administration have
an obligation to defend and uphold all federal laws, regardless of personal
ideology.
Finally,
I am deeply troubled by recent claims from whistleblowers in the Justice
Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) regarding
a botched gun trafficking investigation.
After a US Border
Patrol agent was murdered by weapons traffickers in the Arizona desert, concerned ATF agents alerted
congressional investigators that they had been instructed by their superiors to
allow suspicious gun sales to proceed. Congress
is investigating allegations that this failed operation intentionally funneled
firearms to Mexican drug cartels. It is
difficult to imagine that a federal law enforcement program of this magnitude
would have occurred without Attorney General Holder’s knowledge and approval.
Attorney
General Holder’s record is troubling for multiple reasons, and you may be
certain that I will continue to monitor his actions. I appreciate having the opportunity to
represent you in the United
States Senate. Thank you for taking the time to contact me.
Sincerely,
JOHN
CORNYN

Sorry John Cornyn, but these "WORDS" just do not cut it with the American people anymore. We are sick and tired of WORDS! It is a time for ACTION against these thugs who control you and all the rest of our government! Oh, and John, don't feel too bad, you are just one among 535!
RECITATION: "I am very proud, that I pray to and worship our Judea/Christian, God Almighty. I am very proud to be an American, who loves all his family and all his fellow patriots. I will defend the original Constitutional. I will defend the rights and lives of patriots to the best of my ability and, if time and resources permit will even defend other Americans, who may fail to believe as I do, but I will never defend a Muslim, believer of the Quran! They are my ENEMY and I DO NOT recognize their beliefs in Islam to be a RELIGION, and I never will!
Remember, be proud of, and promote, your beliefs! Be proud you're an American and promote that with pride! Be proud of your families and your fellow patriots and promote that with pride! And last, take some kind of real action and pray “everyday” for God to lead you correctly! Believe me.....this will lead to success.”” -- JOHN L SULAK ...and there you have some more opinions from me, Th' Dumb Ol' East Texas Boy. Take care out there, okay. IN GOD WE DO TRUST!
