NUMBER 938: WORDS IN THE WIND!

I had written my representatives regarding Obama’s (America Takeover) National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order, which completely bypassed Congress.  This order gives the madman in our house the power to take ALL EVERYONE in America has, even in peacetime!  Now, I’m just an ol’ country hick, but that sounds pretty damn serious to me.  It is serious enough that our representatives should be doing more than talking!  Well I have ol’ Kay Bailey Hutchison’s letter back to me.  It’s a real doozie!  Not only does she not give me anything to go on, but she INSULTS me by thinking I’m buyin’ her baloney!  Now notice how she admits that the lil’ punk “usurps Congressional authority and damages the necessary constitutional balance of power among the branches of the federal government.”, but she never says she’s gonna do a damn thing about it!  Oh, and she assures me that she will, “support legislation that ensures the best resources for the preparedness of our troops.”, but she doesn’t say what she’ll do if there is legislation that does not support them, like this lil’ punk’s executive order!  Yep, this is what our “representatives” call “representation”!  Feel free to read it here:

     Thank you for contacting me regarding President Barack Obama's March 2012 Executive Order on National Defense Resources Preparedness. I welcome your thoughts and comments.

     Presidents have issued executive orders affecting both foreign and domestic policy since the middle of the 19th century.  Executive orders based on valid constitutional or statutory authority are legally binding.  However, it is possible for an executive order to be nullified if Congress changes the statute upon which the executive order is based.

     This new executive order delegates authorities and addresses national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended.  While I believe the members of our Armed Services should have the best available equipment and resources, the executive order usurps Congressional authority and damages the necessary constitutional balance of power among the branches of the federal government.

     Please be assured that I will continue to support legislation that ensures the best resources for the preparedness of our troops, and I will strive for constitutional balance of power in the federal government.  I appreciate hearing from you, and I hope that you will not hesitate to contact me on any issue that is important to you.

Oh yeah, you can’t reply to the email and have a “real” discussion with your “representative”.  No sir, that would make way too much sense.  They have to remain IN THERE UNTOUCHABLE BUBBLE!
