OUR FLAG!

To those who say it is a symbol of oppression and willing set her afire.

Allow me to give you a little story about the flag you seem to think is only a rag. See since the birth of the United States of America, that flag has represented what our country stands for.

No matter where you are in the world. You can rest assured where you see that flag you may find safety as an American. That very same safety is afforded to anyone running in danger of their life as well.

It has also been a reminder of over a million men and women while at war, that there is a place, a people whom they are fighting for. Loved ones who pray for their safety and for their return home.

See folks, that Flag holds more virtue and honor than some can imagine. You grew up under the comfort of that old flag.

Sadly, many Kids grew up with only that flag, for their father or mother were killed while providing the liberties we have. Just as many Parents have only that flag, for their sons and daughters fought for you.

My Grandfather and Father and all the brave men and women, all of which did you a great service, no they never meet you, but they risked their lives for you.

So say what you wish about that old flag, but next time you see it, you might want to stop and think about all of those who have either risked it all or given their all just for you.  --  by Cris Babb

  1. I respect America, home to the FREE and the BRAVE. Without the BRAVE men and women who have served our Country...there would be no freedom. Only Dictators and evil would abound. God bless our fallen HEROES today and always! I love the good ole USA!! Kathynewton51@yahoo.com

  2. If anyone is curious as to the number of children who've grown up with only flag, or those parents who have lost a son or daughter. Take a trip and visit Arlington. Where as Arlington only represents only apart of those, it will surely humble you.
Take a minute and give Thanks for those who have laid down their lives.
